Tejashwi Yadav asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to avoid spreading lies about the Mandal Commission, reservation and constitution.
Patna May 27: Former deputy chief minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he should not spread lies about the Mandal Commission, reservation and constitution in the country.
Tejashwi Yadav also said that PM Modi needs to increase his knowledge on these points.
“We have put forward our views with facts on Sunday so that he would get the right information through an open letter I have written to him. I have tried to tell the truth by tweeting so that his knowledge can be increased,” Yadav said while speaking with the media persons in Patna.
He was on the way to Jahanabad to address a rally for RJD candidate Surendra Yadav
Tejashwi Yadav wrote an open letter on Sunday and said on his initiative, the leaders of every party met with PM Modi in 2021 and requested him to conduct a caste-based census in the country but he denied it. After that, the Bihar government conducted the caste-based survey in the state at its own expense. He also said that the Gujarat government is giving reservations to 25 castes of the Muslim community but he has no knowledge about it and hence misleading the people of the country on this issue.
“Why does he keep saying useless things? This is the reason why no one wants to listen to him. We talk about issues and are getting people’s support. The public is with us and BJP will be wiped out from Bihar and the country. The public knows what the truth is?” he said.
When asked about the arrival of Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav said: “It is a good thing that he is coming, preparations are being made for his arrival. All I have to say is that the BJP is losing the election in every phase and we are winning with a good margin. This time the INDIA bloc will form the government in the centre.”
Reacting to the meeting of the INDIA bloc on June 1, Tejashwi Yadav said: “The meeting will be held on June 1 and we are going there to discuss various issues and we will reveal its outcome publically.”
