Patna, June 25, 2024: Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday released a list of 33 alleged crime incidents that took place in the state after the Lok Sabha elections, and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on them.

Tejashwi Yadav criticized BJP leaders for hypocrisy:

Posting the list on his official X handle, Tejashwi said that whenever elections approach in Bihar, the Prime Minister raises the “Jungle Raj” issue, but remains quiet when serious crime incidents take place under the present “double-engine” government.

“Two words of condemnation are expected from the Prime Minister’s holy mouth on the record-breaking crime that is increasing day by day in Bihar,” Yadav wrote.

Tejashwi Yadav highlighted recent crime incidents:

He claimed that the ruling BJP-JDU alliance keeps invoking “Jungle Raj” only during polls, while crime incidents have spiked in the last 20-25 days.

Tejashwi demanded that PM Modi react publicly to these incidents and explain the law-and-order situation under the NDA government in Bihar.
