Tejashwi Yadav alleges conspiracy against CM Nitish’s son Nishant and attacks NDA ahead of PM Modi’s visit.

Patna, June 18, 2025: Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has stirred a political storm with his sensational claim that some senior leaders of the ruling JD(U) are allegedly conspiring to keep Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s son, Nishant Kumar, out of politics.

In a scathing statement to the media, the RJD leader alleged that members of what he called the “Bhunja Party” a term he uses for JD(U) leaders aligned with the BJP are working to sideline Nishant Kumar from entering active politics.

“Under a conspiracy, some people close to the Chief Minister do not want Nishant Kumar to join politics. They want to continue enjoying the benefits of power and see Nishant as a threat. Nitish Kumar is in an unconscious political state, and these people are exploiting it,” Tejashwi said.

Tejashwi Yadav questioned on RSS quota:

He further alleged that the JD(U) is under the influence of the RSS and BJP, and even CM Nitish’s own leaders are admitting this.

“Wherever the RSS quota applies, the CM should explain. His close aides have all secured positions for their families—Sanjay’s Jha’s children, Ashok Choudhary’s children, and the Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar’s wife. But Nishant Kumar is being deliberately sidelined by these very people,” Tejashwi claimed.

The RJD leader also hinted at future revelations, warning that he has a “blacklist” of those misusing power.

“Let these people fall as much as they want—we have a blacklist of each and every person. We will reveal everything when the time is right.”

Tejashwi Yadav attacks on PM Modi’s upcoming Bihar visit:

Tejashwi Yadav also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Bihar on June 20, accusing him of focusing on political rhetoric rather than developmental issues.

“The Prime Minister is not coming to provide jobs, not to talk about education, healthcare, or irrigation. He’s coming only to deliver a long speech and abuse Lalu Yadav and me. Once again, he is coming to cheat the people,” Tejashwi said.

Taking a dig at alleged nepotism within the NDA, Tejashwi sarcastically asked: “Will PM Modi garland the three famous sons-in-law—Santosh  Manjhi’s brother-in-law, Chirag Paswan’s brother-in-law, and Ashok Choudhary’s son-in-law—during his visit?”

He concluded by claiming the Prime Minister’s visit was less about governance and more about consolidating political power:

“PM Modi is coming to hold a meeting of the National Damad Aayog (NDA), not to serve Bihar’s interests.”
