Tejashwi Yadav criticized the NDA government and launched a digital campaign for new Bihar.

Patna, June 16, 2025: Leader of Opposition in the Bihar assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, on Monday launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the NDA government, accusing them of nepotism, corruption, and completes administrative failure.

“People are extremely upset with the 20-year-old dilapidated government. They want to get rid of Nitish Kumar. He is unconscious. As soon as an opportunity arises, members of the so-called Bhuja Party adjust their own families,” Yadav said, addressing media persons in Patna on Monday.

Tejashwi Yadav criticized development, migration, and employment:

Tejashwi Yadav said Bihar continues to suffer from poverty and migration due to a lack of vision by the ruling government.

“It pains me to see Bihar as the poorest state. There is no employment, no sugar mills, no food processing units.

What’s stopping them? In our 17-month tenure, we initiated work in health, education, and other sectors. We have a clear road map for Bihar’s progress,” he asserted.

Launch of ‘Tejashwi Digital Force’ to engage youth:

To galvanize support among the youth, Tejashwi launched a campaign portal under the banner of ‘Tejashwi Digital Force’.

He appealed to the youth to join his vision of a new Bihar.

“If you want better governance, medicine, and opportunity to earn with dignity, join us. Through the portal, anyone can become a volunteer by submitting their name, mobile number, district, and constituency details. This is a movement to rebuild Bihar,” he said.

Referring to recent allegations made against the government regarding corruption and nepotism, Tejashwi Yadav expressed disappointment over the silence from the Chief Minister’s office.

“We held a press conference on Sunday, but no response has come from Nitish Kumar.

We also submitted letters regarding reservation, yet there’s silence. Has Nitish even seen the documents? Or is DK Bose playing tricks again?” he said, taking a jibe at the bureaucratic handling of matters.

Questions on women’s reservation & caste census:

Tejashwi Yadav also raised concerns over the implementation of the Women’s Reservation Bill and the delay in conducting the caste census.

“The BJP is a ‘reservation thief party’. They didn’t do the caste census in 2021. It was only because of opposition pressure that it’s being talked about now. But even that hasn’t been completed,” he said.
