Patna, August 11, 2025: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Monday accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of copying his schemes and making pre-election announcements based on his ideas.

In a video released early in the morning, Yadav alleged that the Nitish government “steals ideas but lacks vision.”

He wrote, “The thief may steal the idea, but from where will he bring the vision? Elections have come, so you are seeing the announcements… this time the scamster copycat government will go, a young government will come.”

Tejashwi Yadav posted a video of common people criticizing the government:

The video features people portrayed as common citizens, discussing how Nitish Kumar’s announcements—such as domicile rules, free electricity, and other welfare measures—were originally promised by Tejashwi. One voice in the clip says, “A thief can steal an idea but not vision,” while another claims, “ For 20 years Bihar has depended on thieves, and in this government, Rs. 71,000 crore has been stolen.”

Nitish Kumar made several announcements in recent weeks:

Tejashwi Yadav’s remarks come after Nitish Kumar recently announced several measures, including,, free electricity, journalist pensions, domicile implementation, social security pensions, free electricity of 125 units, enhancement of honorariums of physical teachers, night watchmen, and cooks in the government schools, ASHA and MAMTA workers and many others.

The RJD leader accused the government of adopting his proposals without original planning.
