Sanjay Jha criticized Arvind Kejriwal for his letter written to Nitish Kumar.

Patna December 21, 2024: JDU’s working president Sanjay Jha launched a sharp critique of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal following his letter to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Jha attributed Kejriwal’s remarks to frustration, pointing out that Home Minister Amit Shah had exposed the alleged misdeeds of the opposition alliance’s leaders in the parliament.

Jha remarked, “Your real pain stems from the exposure of your alliance’s leader and his party in the House by Amit Shah. Furthermore, the Congress party’s historical misbehaviour with Baba Saheb Ambedkar is unforgivable.”

On the issue of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and his contribution to India’s Constitution, Jha emphasized that Amit Shah, during a recent speech, exposed the Congress party’s failures in recognizing Ambedkar’s contributions.

“I was present in the House that day when Amit Shah spoke about Baba Saheb and exposed Congress for its long-standing disregard for Ambedkar,” Jha added, noting that even Congress had failed to honour Ambedkar with the Bharat Ratna despite ruling the country for 40 years.

Sanjay Jha claimed Nitish Kumar followed the footprints of BR Ambedkar:

Highlighting the work of Nitish Kumar, Jha said, “What our leader has accomplished for Dalits and backward communities in Bihar, inspired by Baba Saheb, is unparalleled. Leaders like you and your alliance cannot even conceive of such measures.”

He urged Kejriwal to adopt a positive attitude and avoid prejudice, emphasizing the strength of India’s Constitution.

Sanjay Jha also criticized Kejriwal for his actions during the INDIA alliance, “you ran away from the Patna program,” he said.

He further mentioned Bihar’s landmark caste census initiative under Nitish Kumar, asserting that despite Kumar’s repeated calls, Kejriwal did not support the effort.

In a pointed remark, Jha referenced the alleged neglect of Bihari residents in Delhi, calling out the AAP leader’s failure to adequately address their needs.

Sanjay Jha criticized Arvind Kejriwal for his approach toward Bihari laborers during Covid-19:

In response to Arvind Kejriwal’s letter to Nitish Kumar, Sanjay Jha made a counterattack, criticizing Kejriwal’s handling of the migrant crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jha recalled how, during the pandemic people from Bihar and Purvanchal were forcibly packed into buses and left stranded at Delhi’s borders.

“People from Bihar walked back to their homes from Delhi. Kejriwal packed them into buses and abandoned them at the border, while Nitish Kumar ensured that people were taken care of on campus, with Rs.1,000 given to each account,” Jha said.

Sanjay Jha also questioned Kejriwal’s record on empowering Dalits and backward communities, pointing out, “Who has Kejriwal sent to the Rajya Sabha from Dalit or backward communities? Nitish Kumar, when given the chance, made a Mahadalit Chief Minister in Bihar.”

In response to Kejriwal’s concerns raised in his letter, where Kejriwal questioned the remarks made by Amit Shah in Parliament about Ambedkar and urged Nitish Kumar to address the matter, Jha clarified, “Nitish Kumar has always stood with the legacy of Baba Saheb, and his actions speak louder than Kejriwal’s words.”
