Rohini Acharya slammed BJP leaders following PM Narendra Modi comment on Dr Manmohan Singh.
Patna April 22: After PM Narendra Modi quoted the 18 years old statement of former PM Dr Manmohan Singh and brought political storm in the country, Rohini Acharya, the RJD candidate of Saran slammed BJP and RSS leaders that they used to be slaves during British rule and are now becoming patriots.
“The level of politics is declining in the country. They (BJP leaders) can say anything. They have been targeting Muslims right from the beginning. For us, all people are equal. The people of Muslim community fought for independence with us. What will these people (BJP leaders) say? These people themselves used to be slaves of the British and become the patriot now. They will give the certificate as to who is a patriot,” Rohini Acharya said.
PM Narendra Modi during the rally in Banswara Rajasthan pointed out the election manifesto of Congress party and said that Manmohan Singh’s government had once advocated for snatching away the assets of Hindu and distributing it among Muslims.
BJP also put a question mark on the manifesto of RJD as well. Its leaders said that RJD is a regional party having not a single MP in the Lok Sabha. Still, it is talking about the jobs.
Reacting to this, Rohini Acharya said: “They should be ashamed of themselves that a leader of a regional party has given 5 lakh government jobs in the tenure of just 17 months. They have not fulfilled a single promise they have made.”
