About Ritesh Pandey and Jaiprakash Singh:

After joining the Jan Suraj Party, Ritesh Pandey stated he was influenced by the ideas of Prashant Kishor and joined the party to contribute to building a new Bihar.

“I have personally experienced how people from Bihar face insult in other states due to the lack of opportunities there. Now, we must work together to create a Bihar where there is employment and dignity for all,” Pandey said.

Jaiprakash Singh, a native of Saran district, Bihar, is a former Additional Director General of police of Himachal Pradesh who took voluntary retirement to enter active politics.

Speaking after the joining the Jan Suraj, Singh shared that he comes from a farmer’s family and had served in the Indian Army and the Airport Authority of India for about 12 years before becoming an IPS officer.

“Ever since the Jan Suraj campaign began, I have been observing it closely. It is committed to Bihar’s development and has a clear vision. I felt a new system with a different vision for Bihar is being built, and I wanted to contribute to my society and state. Leaving my job was a difficult decision, but I am here to serve,” Singh said.

Singh also thanked the Jan Suraj team for welcoming him to the party.
