Patna, April 28, 2024: BJP’s Saran Lok Sabha candidate Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Sunday claimed that his real fight is not with his opponent Rohini Acharya but with her father, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.
“Lalu Prasad Yadav cannot contest the election. It is banned for him. Hence, he is using Rohini Acharya as a mask to contest the election,” Rudy alleged while addressing supporters.
Rajiv Pratap Rudy criticized Rohini Acharya:
Taking a dig at Rohini Acharya’s recent remarks, Rudy said, “She sometimes calls me a fool and sometimes makes indecent comments about our state president, Samrat Choudhary. The people of Saran have elected me to Parliament for two consecutive terms—were they fools? Is Rohini trying to say this?”
Rajiv Pratap Rudy, a two-term MP from Saran, is seeking a third victory against Rohini Acharya, who is making her electoral debut. Voting in the Saran Lok Sabha seat will take place in the fifth phase on May 20.

The BJP leader has intensified his door-to-door campaign, often engaging voters in informal ways—cooking noodles, serving tea, and chatting with residents to seek their support.
