Patna, August 16: Prashant Kishor, the architect of Jan Suraj Padyatra, slammed RJD and its leader Tejashwi Yadav for making baseless allegations that he was offering financial incentives to involve people in his campaign.

Prashant Kishor has already announced the formation of a political party on October 2 this year, aiming to contest the assembly election 2025.

Kishor pointed out that over the last 30 years, sand and liquor mafias have thrived in Bihar, and he accused RJD members for allegedly taken money from these illegal sources.

Prashant Kishor hypothetically said: “If Jan Suraj were offering money to RJD workers to join his campaign, the RJD could easily outbid them given their extensive resources. You do not have a shortage of money; you have looted Bihar for 30 years.”

Prashant Kishor pointed out the alleged involvement of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family in corruption, such as registering lands in multiple people’s names in exchange for jobs and construction of a mall for personal use.

Kishor suggested that the Yadav family should use their considerable wealth to manage their own workers rather than making baseless allegations against others.

He also asserted that the top leaders of Bihar’s political parties often turned to him for advice during the challenging times addressing comments made by Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had previously said he (PK) was the one who advised what to say before media.

Prashant Kishor also criticized the broader political culture in Bihar, particularly the reliance on caste-based politics.

“Such practices have severely harmed the state’s development by limiting broader thinking and exploiting people based on caste identities,” Prashant Kishor said.
