Prashant Kishor will continue his Padyatra after October 2.

Patna September 29, 2024: Prashant Kishor, the chief of the Jan Suraj campaign, on Sunday, said he will continue to do Padyatra in Bihar despite the party will form on October 2, this year. He also said that he would release the blueprint for Bihar’s development in February-March next year from Gandhi Maidan Patna.

“The party’s foundation program will be held at 2 pm in Patna’s Veterinary College Ground. People from all over Bihar associated with Jan Suraj are coming to attend this program. During the event, the leader of Jan Suraj i.e. the president, leadership council and the party’s constitution will also be announced,” he said.

Prashant Kishor further said that he will neither be the leader of this party nor will he join the leadership council.

“I will continue to do Padyatra in Bihar even after the party is formed, just like before. After the formation of the party, we will release its blueprint for the overall development of Bihar from Gandhi Maidan in Patna in the month of February-March next year and the people of the state will be told how Bihar can also be included in the leading states of the country. A separate manifesto will also be released for each panchayat of Bihar,” Kishor said.

During the interaction with the media persons in Patna, Prashant Kishor criticized the BJP. He directly targeted the BJP and said that if Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal is made to stand in a village, then even 10 people will not be able to recognize him.

“This is the same BJP, which claims to be the largest party in the world, but its condition in Bihar is pathetic. BJP does not have any strong face of its own in Bihar. BJP is sinking itself by forming a government with Nitish Kumar. Today, BJP does not have any clear leadership in Bihar, and that is why they have kept Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister with 43 MLAs,” he said.

Prashant Kishor further said it was a big strategic mistake of the BJP and claimed that the party will have to pay the price for it in the next elections.

He also targeted the Nitish Kumar government over the liquor ban, land survey and smart meters issues in Bihar.

Attacking Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Prashant Kishor said that Triple S i.e. Sharab Bandi (liquor ban), survey (land survey) and smart meter is the “final nail” in Nitish Kumar’s political life.

“liquor ban is only on paper. The ground reality is that liquor shops have been closed, but home delivery is going on in full swing. Jan Suraj has been against liquor ban from the beginning and we believe that the revenue coming from it can be used to improve the education system of the state,” Kishor said.

On the issue of land survey, he said that this survey is becoming the reason for quarrels and conflicts in the villages.

“The land survey done by the Nitish Kumar government will cause quarrels in every house and village in the next six months, and recent events have also proved it,” he said.

While reacting to the smart meters, he said, “The consumers who have started using smart meters have now turned against it, because their electricity bills are increasing drastically. People have this notion in their minds that their bills are being tampered with through smart meters.”

Prashant Kishore also took a dig at RJD and said that it has no strength left since 2005. RJD and their alliance have not had success in the last several elections.

“The only victory of the Grand Alliance was on the face of Nitish Kumar, not in the name of RJD. In this Lok Sabha election, BJP and NDA have maintained a lead in 176 assembly constituencies, while RJD influences only 50 seats. Our competition is with NDA which has 176 seats, not with the weakened RJD. He also said that Lalu Yadav was able to win the election on his own only once,” he said.
