Patna, April 6, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public rally in Nawada district on April 7, ahead of the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar.
Voting in Nawada will take place on April 19, and Vivek Thakur, the BJP candidate and son of former Union Minister Dr. C.P. Thakur, is contesting from this seat.
He will face RJD candidate Shrawan Kushwaha.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, Chandan Singh, brother of Surajbhan Singh, was elected MP from Nawada on a Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) ticket.
Samrat Choudhary confirmed the PM Narendra Modi’s rally in Nawada:
Confirming the Prime Minister’s visit, Bihar BJP president and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said, “PM Modi will address a rally in Nawada at 10 a.m. on Sunday. I appeal to the people of Nawada and the nearby area, and the BJP supporters to come in large numbers to support the party and the Prime Minister.”
This will be PM Modi’s second campaign rally in Bihar within three days.

Earlier, on April 4, he addressed a rally in Jamui, where he urged voters to support LJPRV candidate Arun Bharti.
The Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRV) is a key constituent of the NDA in Bihar.
