Patna, October 19, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch his campaign in the state on October 24, beginning from Karpoori Gram (Village) in Samastipur district, the birthplace of the late socialist and two-time Bihar Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur.

With this, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has gone into full election mode ahead of the Bihar Assembly polls.

State BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said on Sunday that PM Narendra Modi will first pay tribute to Karpoori Thakur at his residence before addressing a massive rally in Samastipur.

The event is expected to energize the NDA’s campaign across Bihar.

PM Narendra Modi’s rallies will boost NDA:

Jaiswal said that the Prime Minister’s visit is not just political but symbolic of an emotional and ideological connection with Bihar’s legacy of social justice and development.

In the first phase, Narendra Modi will address two major rallies in Samastipur and Begusarai on October 24.

Subsequent rallies are scheduled in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra on October 30, followed by more public meetings on November 2,3,6 and 7 in various districts.

The Bihar Assembly election will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, with vote counting on November 14.

NDA has five constituent partners:

Under the NDA’s seat-sharing arrangements, BJP and JDU are contesting on 101 seats each, while LJPRV on 29 seats, HAM on 6 seats and RLM on 6 seats.

Party leaders believe that Modi’s presence and outreach will significantly boost the NDA’s campaign, helping connect voters with the central government’s welfare schemes and development agenda.

All eyes are now on the Prime Minister’s first rally, which is expected to set the tone for Bihar’s high-stakes electoral battle.
