Patna May 13: PM Narendra Modi attacked RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav during the rally in Hajipur on Monday and said that he spreads darkness in the name of social justice.
“In the name of social justice, how much darkness the lantern people spread in Bihar. These people pushed the people of Bihar into poverty and deprivation and gave them jungle Raj. These people ruined everyone and built their own luxurious palaces. Only the kidnapping and ransom industry has flourished under RJD rule. Be it RJD or Congress, both these parties have made appeasement their biggest political weapon,” PM Narendra Modi said while addressing a massive rally in Qutubpur block in Hajipur Lok Sabha constituency.
He claimed the leaders of the INDI alliance wanted to snatch the reservation and give it to the people of one religion. He also ensured that as long as he is in the centre, no one would snatch reservations.
“As long as Modi is alive, I guarantee you that they cannot encroach on your rights and snatch your reservation. Those times have gone now when you (Leaders of INDI Alliance) tore the papers of reservation given to the women,” he said.
“A person (Lalu Prasad Yadav) who brought Jungle Raj to Bihar, has been found guilty by the court in the fodder scam and punished. He stated that Muslims should be given reservations and that too in full. That means they want to give the entire reservation given to Dalits, backward classes and tribals to Muslims,” PM Modi said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said that the votes given to RJD, Congress or any other party in the Indi Alliance, will be wasted. He appealed to the voters of Hajipur to vote for NDA.
“If you vote for the NDA in this election, it will make a strong government of Narendra Modi and if you vote for RJD, Congress or any other party of the INDI alliance, it will be wasted. Therefore, cast your vote to form the government, cast it to build the country, cast it for the bright future of your children,” He appealed to the voters.
He also slammed RJD and Congress leaders for their approach to the Ram temple of Ayodhya.
“Nowadays you must have seen that every political party of INDI Alliance is saying bad things about the Ram temple. They are teasing you by abusing and boycotting the Ram temple. Will you forgive such people?” he asked the people assembled in Hajipur.
“In the 10 years of Congress rule, ED had seized only Rs 35 lakh from the entire country and the thieves were stealing. Whereas Rs 2,200 crore has been confiscated in 10 years of my government. The thieves have lost their sleep and that is why they are abusing Modi,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that in the last 10 years, there has been progress in every sector in the country. If the government is formed, the pace of development will increase further in the next 5 years.
PM Narendra Modi went to Hajipur in support of LJPR national president Chirag Paswan who is contesting here as an NDA candidate. Hajipur is a strong hold of Chirag Paswan. His father Late Ram Vilas Paswan won the Hajipur Lok Sabha seat 9 times in the past.
