Patna: Congress leader Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav claimed that BJP and JD-U are playing with his security on Tuesday.
The statement of Pappu Yadav came at a time when centre has withdrawn Y category security from him after he joined the Congress party.
While uploading a post on social media platform X, Yadav said: ““After joining the congress party, the centre has withdrawn my Y category security. All police personnel are withdrawn from my security.”
Pappu Yadav uploaded a post after reaching the Bagdogra airport from New Delhi to go further towards Purnea for the election campaign.
“The way people of Purnea, Kosi and Seemanchal region are blessing me, BJP is afraid of it. I am not bothered about my life. I can sacrifice my life for the change in Purnea and in the country. BJP and JD-U are playing with my security and they will pay the price for it,” Yadav said.
Pappu Yadav merged his party called Jan Adhikar Party in Congress on March 20 and he is looking for a ticket of Congress party from Purnea.
