Nitish Kumar will benefit the people of Katihar during the 2nd phase of the Pragati Yatra.

Patna January 29, 2025: Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar will visit Katihar on Wednesday as part of the second phase of his Pragati Yatra.
During the visit, he will review the ongoing developmental projects, inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various infrastructure projects.
Nitish Kumar will go to the Koda assembly constituency:
The Chief Minister will visit Rampur Panchayat in the Koda assembly constituency, interact with locals and Jivika groups, and inspect schools, hospitals, roads and Anganwadi centres.
A detailed review meeting with officials of the district on government-run schemes is also scheduled.
Senior officials, ministers and local MLAs have already reached the venue and all administrative arrangements have been finalized for his visit.
Nitish Kumar inaugurated 62 projects in Purnea on Tuesday:
On Tuesday, during the Pragati Yatra in Purnea, Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 62 development projects worth Rs 580 crore.
He visited Bhawanipur village under Majra Panchayat and inspected a pond under Jal-Jeevan-Haryali Abhiyan. A solar rooftop a library at Girls Middle School in Majra village and a playground built under the MNREGA scheme at Kamakhya Senior Secondary School were also inspected by the Chief Minister.
Kumar also distributed cheques to beneficiaries of various schemes.
The Chief Minister is covering one district per day, reviewing project progress and addressing implementation challenges.
During the review meetings, public representatives highlighted regional issues, and Kumar directed officials to resolve them promptly.
He will visit Madhepura on January 30 to continue the Yatra.
The Pragati Yatra aims to strengthen governance, public infrastructure and welfare programs across Bihar, ensuring that development initiatives reach the grassroots level effectively.
