Patna, December 17, 2025: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated the two-day Manthan-2025 workshop at the Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPATD) in Gaya.

The event was followed by a group photo session with the state’s divisional commissioners and district magistrates.

The Manthan-2025 workshop is regarded as a significant platform for shaping the administrative direction and future strategy of the Bihar government.

Nitish Kumar asked officials to directly connect with the people:

The deliberations are focused on making governance more effective, transparent, and people-centric.

Interacting with senior officials, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stressed that the real success of government schemes must be reflected on the ground rather than remaining confined to official files.

Emphasizing accountability, timelines, and administrative sensitivity, Kumar urged officers to remain directly connected with the public and responsive to their concerns.

Several senior state officials were present at the Bipard premises during the program.

The group photograph symbolized administrative unity, discipline, and collective responsibility.

It is believed that the workshop will lead to a comprehensive review of ongoing schemes and lay the foundation for key policy decisions in the coming months.

Nitish Kumar also visited the Mahabodhi Temple:

Following the administrative engagements, Nitish Kumar also visited the Mahabodhi Temple in Gaya, where he offered prayers.

The visit is being viewed not merely as a religious observance but also as a symbolic gesture promoting peace, compassion, and coexistence.

While the Manthan-2025 workshop underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening governance, Nitish Kumar’s visit to the sacred Buddhist site reinforces his long-held belief that power, public service, and compassion are deeply interconnected.
