Patna, December 23, 2025: Nitin Nabin arrived in Patna for the first time after assuming charge as the BJP’s National Working President on Tuesday.
At the airport, Nabin was welcomed by BJP Bihar State President Sanjay Saraogi, who garlanded him with a makhana (fox nut) garland, symbolizing Bihar identity.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary felicitated him with a shawl and a bouquet, while several other senior leaders were present.
A massive roadshow was organized from Patna Airport to Millar High School Ground and the BJP state office, which party leaders described as a strong display of the BJP’s organizational strength, unity, and enthusiasm.
The convoy, accompanied by a sea of supporters waving saffron flags, beating drums, and chanting slogans, passed through major city routes.
Massive preparations at Millar High School Ground to felicitate Nitin Nabin:
Special arrangements were made for a grand welcome ceremony at Millar High School Ground.
A large stage was set up, prominently displaying portraits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP National President JP Nadda.

Nitin Nabin will be formally felicitated at the state, followed by addresses from senior BJP leaders, before he delivers his own speech to party workers gathered from across the state.
The district administration deployed police personnel and magistrates to ensure security and crowd control.
Strict security checks have been implemented at the entry points of Millar High School Ground to ensure the event proceeds smoothly and peacefully.
Heavy crowd at Patna airport during Nitin Nabin’s welcome causes major traffic chaos:
Thousands of BJP workers and supporters gathered at the airport premises and surrounding roads carrying banners, posters, drums, and party flags, raising slogans to welcome the leader.
The overwhelming crowd and excessive number of vehicles led to a severe traffic jam on all major roads leading to the airport.

Several passengers were forced to abandon their vehicles midway and walk to the terminal carrying their luggage.
The situation was especially distressing for elderly passengers, women, and children.
Many flyers expressed concern that they might miss their flights despite leaving home well in advance.
The traffic situation became so severe that several senior BJP leaders and ministers, including Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, and others, were compelled to step out of their vehicles and walk to the airport terminal.
