Patna, December 23, 2025: BJP National Working President and Bakipur MLA Nitin Nabin on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav, calling them part-time political leaders.
Addressing party workers during his felicitation ceremony at Millar High School Ground in Patna, Nabin advised BJP workers to avoid what he termed part-time politics, taking a direct swipe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
“When Rahul Gandhi is in the country, he abuses the constitution and the poll body, and when he goes abroad, he abuses the country. Such people need to be punished,” Nabin said.
Without naming him directly, Nabin also targeted Tejashwi Yadav, saying that there is a leader in Bihar who practices part-time politics and leaves when the Assembly session is in progress.
Calling the coming period a time of change, Nabin urged BJP workers to step forward and work dedicatedly for the development of Bihar and the nation.
Nitin Nabin says Bihar and its people reside in his heart:
Assuring the people of the state, Nabin said that Patna, Bihar and its party workers will always remain close to his heart, regardless of where he serves in the future.
“I can never forget the love given by the people of Bihar and Bakipur, not the respect shown by BJP workers,” he said.
Nitin Nabin arrived in Patna on Tuesday afternoon for the first time after becoming the BJP’s National Working President and received a grand welcome.

The Bihar BJP organized a large felicitation ceremony at Millar High School Ground to honour him.
During his address, Nabin expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda, saying they had shown immense faith in Bihar.
Nitin Nabin says every BJP worker has leadership quality:
Paying tribute to party workers, Nabin said that the BJP’s strength lies in its grassroots workers.
“This is the beauty og the BJP. Even a booth-level worker, when entrusted with responsibility in national leadership, works with full dedication. Every worker has this capability,” he said.
Referring to recent local body elections, Nabin said that the BJP is consistently emerging victorious.
“The winning journey that started in Bihar will now move towards West Bengal and Kerala. The Saffron flag will fly everywhere,” he asserted.
Emphasizing organizational discipline, Nabin said that there is no shortcut in politics and that success requires a long-term vision.

“Government schemes must reach the grassroots. To live up to the trust placed in us by the people of Bihar, we will have to work even harder,” he added.
After the felicitation ceremony in Millar High School, Nitin Nabin met with the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.
