After politics, Nirahua is back in the film world with a new Bhojpuri film, Sankalp.

Patna, June 26, 2024: After losing the 2024 Lok Sabha election, Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua has made a comeback to the silver screen.

He will soon be seen in his upcoming Bhojpuri film Sankalp, which has recently completed shooting.

Nirahua, who contested the Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat as a BJP candidate, was defeated by Samajwadi Party’s Dharmendra Yadav in the polls.

Nirahua is working on political and entertainment duties simultaneously:

Despite his political engagement, Nirahua continued working on his film project in between his parliamentary duties.

“Acting is my main profession, and our party also encourages us to pursue the work that gives us recognition, while also contributing to society. I served the people when they chose me, and now I will entertain them through cinema,” Nirahua said.

Speaking about Sankalp, he added, “The film’s shooting was almost completed before the Lok Sabha elections. Some portions were left, which we decided to finish after the polls. Now the entire shooting is over. The film has turned out very well, and I am confident the viewers will love it.”

Sankalp is based on the struggle of a man:

Describing the storyline, Nirahua said, “Sankalp is based on the struggles and determination of a common man. I play a young man who faces challenges at every step to achieve his dreams. It’s an inspirational story for the youth, filled with emotional moments, good music, and impressive songs.”

Produced under the banner of Rajgharana Film Pvt. Ltd., Sankalp has been shot across multiple locations.

The film is directed by Ashok Tripathi Atri, produced by Aditya Kumar Jha, with Om Ojha as the Music Director and Mohan Kumar Verma as the writer. Sahil J. Ansari has handled cinematography, Govind Dubey is the editor, while the choreography has been done by Kanu Mukherjee and Ricky Gupta.

Producer Aditra Kumar Jha praised Nirahua’s dedication, saying, “He worked extremely hard during the shoot. His performance in Sankalp will once again impress his fans and the Bhojpuri audience.”
