NEET question paper leak investigation: CBI had a meeting with Patna SSP and ADG of EOU.

Patna, June 25, 2024: A four-member CBI team on Tuesday held a meeting with Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra and ADG, Economic Offences Unit (EOU), Nayyar Hasnain Khan in connection with the NEET question paper leak probe.
The meeting took place at the EOU headquarters in Patna. SSP Rajeev Mishra reached the office around 12:30 pm and remained inside for about an hour. He is learnt to have shared case-related information and investigation inputs with the CBI officers. ADG (EOU) Nayyar Hasnain Khan was also present.
Patna Police had exposed the NEET question paper leak racket:
Patna Police had exposed the paper leak racket on the day of the NEET examination (May 5) and arrested 13 persons—including six exam mafia operatives, four candidates and three parents, one of them a woman. Separately, the EOU had arrested six more accused from Deoghar.
CBI arrested 119 accused:
According to sources, apart from Mishra, the CBI team collected short notes and relevant investigation papers from other police officials as well.
Sources further said the CBI will interrogate all 119 arrested accused one by one as part of the probe into the NEET question paper leak.
