Patna, June 4, 2024: As counting began in Bihar from 8 am, early trends indicate a strong lead for the NDA. The alliance is ahead on 35 seats, while the RJD is leading on 5 seats.
Strong lead for the NDA:
From Valmiki Nagar, JDU candidate Sunil Kumar is leading by 756 votes. In Darbhanga, BJP’s Gopalganj Thakur has secured a strong lead of 20.737 votes/
In Muzaffarpur, BJP candidate Raj Bhusan Nishad is ahead by 23,317 votes over Congress’s Ajay Nishad.
In Madhepura, NDA’s Dinesh Chandra Yadav is leading with a margin of 20,007 votes.
At Patna Sahib, BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad is ahead by 3,729 votes after the third round of counting against Congress’s Ansul Avijit.
In Samastipur, LJPR candidate Shambhavi Choudhary is leading by 7,169 votes over Congress’s Madan Mohan Tiwari.
In Gaya, HAMS patron and NDA candidate Jitan Ram Manjhi leads with 20,299 votes against RJD’s Kumar Sarvjeet.
From Paschim Champaran, BJP’s Sanjay Jaiswal is ahead by 11,500 votes against Congress’s Madan Mohan Tiwari.
Misa Bharti is leading in Patliputra:
In Patliputra, RJD’s Misa Bharti is leading by 7,668 votes over BJP’s Ram Kripal Yadav.
In Nalanda, JDU’s Kaushalendra Kumar leads by 8,700 votes against CPI-ML, JDU’s Dulal Chandra Goswami is leading against Congress’s Tariq Anwar,
From Purvi Champaran, BJP’s Radha Mohan Singh has taken a lead of 3,927 votes.
In Begusarai, BJP’s Giriraj Singh is leading against Grand Alliance candidate Alok Kumar Suman.
