Patna, December 12, 2025: After remaining away from Bihar following his party’s poor performance in the Assembly elections, Vikassheel Insaan Party(VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani finally appeared before the media on Friday.

Arriving in Patna from Mumbai, Mukesh Sahani made a series of explosive remarks, hinting at fresh political instability in the state.

When asked whether another “political game” was about to unfold in Bihar, Sahani said, “Just wait. Even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar doesn’t know how long he will be Chief Minister.

There is a conspiracy to remove him from the post. Wait for the right time—everything will be revealed.”

He further added, “Everyone knows which MLA is in contact with whom. When the time comes, the truth will come out.”

Mukesh Sahani on Tejashwi Yadav and opposition strategy:

Responding to Shivanand Tiwari’s advice to Tejashwi Yadav, Mukesh Sahani said, “What will we gain by staying in Bihar now? We have given this government three months. They must fulfill their promises within that time.

After that, we will go among the people and oppose the government in an organized manner.”

He added that Tejashwi Yadav had his own personal priorities.

“Tejashwi Yadav is gone. Everyone in the Grand Alliance has the right to express their views.”

Escalating his attack, Sahani alleged that the current government in Bihar was formed through unfair means. “This is a government formed through theft, whether by money or by distributing Rs 10,000.

We awakened people through the Voter Rights March.

The Election Commission is not impartial.”

Context: JDU claims 16 RJD MLAs are in touch:

Sahani’s comments come amid claims that 16 RJD MLAs were in contact with the JDU and could join the party at any time.

Responding to this claim, RJD spokesperson Mritunjay Tiwari said, “A game of cat and mouse is underway within the NDA itself. They won 202 out of 243 seats, and still, they say 16 MLAs are in contact with JDU? This clearly shows that the JDU is under pressure. The new government hasn’t even completed one month, and they are already making such statements.”
