New Delhi, January 25, 2026: The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) will present its grand tableau, “powered by skills: building a self-reliant, future-ready India,” at the Republic Day parade on Kartavya Path.

The MSDE tableau will narrate India’s transformation into a self-reliant and future-ready nation-powered by skills, driven by Yuva Shakti, and enabled by innovation.

Leading the MSDE tableau will be the All-India toppers of Industrial Training Institutes (IITs), who were felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh 2025.

MSDE has won an international award:

Strengthening India’s global presence in skill development, the Ministry has also won medals and a Medallion of Excellence at the World Skills Asia Competition 2025 held in Taipei, highlighting the country’s rising excellence on international skill platforms and its growing competitiveness in high-end skills.

The tableau will emphasize inclusive growth, showcasing women and men training side by side. Women trainees in non-traditional, technology-driven roles will underline how skilling initiatives are accelerating women-led economic growth and expanding participation in emerging sectors.

Kartavya Path showcases the country’s achievements:

Kartavya Path, traditionally a showcase of India’s armed forces and national achievements, is now emerging as the Kaushal Path of Yuva Shakti—from where India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat gains momentum.

Future-oriented domains such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, electric mobility, and semiconductors will form the centerpiece of the display, signaling India’s preparedness for the future of work.

The Ministry’s SOAR (Skilling for AI Readiness) Program—offering free, government-led AI courses for all—will reflect the Government of India’s focused push to equip youth for AI-enabled roles and leadership in the AI revolution.

Traditional artisans and craftspeople will be honored alongside modern technologists, reflecting the spirit of Atma Nirbharta, where heritage skills and new-age capabilities progress together.

Overall, the tableau will convey a unified vision of a nation where skills drive development, innovation creates opportunity, and youth stand at the forefront of India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat.
