Patna, June 3, 2024: While the counting for the Lok Sabha poll will begin after 12 hours, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav gave a big assignment to his party’s workers at the counting centres and asked them to stay alert.
Lalu Prasad Yadav urged agents to stay vigilant during the counting:
Lalu Prasad Yadav expressed apprehension about irregularities that may take place during the counting centres.
He has asked his party workers and counting agents of the Grand Alliance to stay alert during the counting of every EVM and VVPAT.
After the election was over on June 1, both NDA and INDIA claimed to form the government in the centre.
Lalu Prasad Yadav sent a message through social media:
While uploading a post on the social media platform Instagram, Lalu Prasad Yadav said: “I am heartily grateful to all of you for the way you participated enthusiastically in the festival of democracy, the Lok Sabha elections and voted heavily in favour of the INDIA bloc. I am grateful to every worker of our alliance and Rashtriya Janata Dal who worked day and night to save the constitution, democracy and reservation with full dedication, regardless of the scorching heat during the election.”
“Friends, I want to tell you that the campaign we started is yet to reach its destination. The public has cast its vote in favour of the INDIA bloc, but it is our responsibility to take this public opinion to a safe result. So, without stopping, without getting tired, remain active with zeal and enthusiasm at the counting centres to ensure that every vote given by the people of Bihar is safe so that our democracy, constitution and reservation can also be protected,” Lalu Prasad Yadav further wrote in his post.
“Being a worker of RJD, it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the vote of the people and take this fight to its conclusion. Thus, friends, we have to be vigilant; every vote has to be counted with caution. The people’s government is coming again. The INDIA bloc is going to give surprising results with a huge majority. All psychological propaganda will go in vain. We will form the people’s government,” he said.
