Patna, July 26, 2025: In a key political move ahead of the Bihar Assembly election, RJD National President Lalu Prasad has restructured several national-level cells of the party, giving a mix of fresh faces and experienced leaders key organizational responsibilities.

The official notification, issued by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), outlines new presidents for six crucial wings of the party with the move being seen as an attempt to strengthen grassroots outreach, ensure social balance, and boost electoral preparedness.
New list of RJD National Cell President:
Lalu Prasad has appointed Kanti Singh as a president of National Women’s Cell, Abhay Kushwaha as a National Youth Wing President, ML Ali Ashraf Fatmi is appoinded as National Minority Cell, Shivchandra Ram was given the charge of National SC/ST Cell, Buxar MP Sudhakar Singh is the new National Farmer Cell president and Professor Naval Kishore has been appointed as the National President of Students Cell.
Lalu Prasad’s strategic move ahead of the Bihar poll:
RJD spokesperson Chittranjan Gagan stated, “These appointments were made after careful consideration of social representation and regional Balance. The reshuffle is intended to mobilize communities at the ground level, activate the party’s cadre base and prepare for a high-stakes electoral battle against the NDA.”
The reorganization reflects Lalu Prasad’s strategy to blend experience with energy, and to consolidate support across key vote blocs like youth, minorities, Dalits, women, farmers and students.
