Lalan Singh slams Tejashwi Yadav for criticizing Union Budget 2025.

Patna February 1, 2025: Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, the Union Minister in the NDA government, strongly criticized Tejashwi Yadav for calling the Union Budget 2025-26 “Disappointing and hollow.”
Singh dismissed Yadav’s remarks as baseless, asserting that the budget introduces several new and transformative initiatives for Bihar.
Reacting to Tejashwi Yadav’s claim that the budget contains “nothing new”, Lalan Singh retorted, “Is the expansion of Patna and Bihta airport an old announcement? Are the three new Greenfield airports, the National Food Processing Institute, and the establishment of a Makhana Board all previous announcements? Tejashwi Yadav knows nothing about development.”
Lalan Singh countered Tejashwi Yadav’s claims:
Lalan Singh said the budget announces the expansion of Patna and Bihta airports, along with the construction of new Greenfield airports to enhance connectivity and industrial growth, the formation of a Makhana Board will support production, processing, and global marketing of Bihar’s renowned Makhana, directly benefiting thousands of farmers.
“The establishment of a National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Management will boost the food processing sector and create employment opportunities,’ Singh said.
Lalan Singh took a sharp dig at Tejashwi Yadav, stating, “He knows nothing about governance. His father and mother are known for ‘Jungle Raj’ in Bihar, and he has no interest in development.”
Budget paving the way for Bihar’s growth:
Singh emphasized that the Union Budget 2025-26 lays the foundation for a progressive and developed Bihar, with major investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, and industry.
He urged Tejashwi Yadav to focus on constructive politics rather than making baseless claims, stating that PM Narendra Modi’s government is committed to Bihar’s development, while the opposition continues to mislead the people.
