Krishna Allavaru criticized ECI’s voter list revision, and calls it BJP’s conspiracy.

Patna, June 30, 2025: Congress Bihar In-charge Krishna Allavaru on Monday strongly opposed the Elections Commission of India’s voter list revision initiative, alleging it is a BJP-backed conspiracy to disenfranchise minorities, the poor, Dalits, and backward caste voters ahead of the crucial Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

Speaking to reporters at Patna airport, Krishna Allavaru said: “BJP was earlier working through back channels to remove names of minorities, the poor and backward caste people from voter lists in other states. Now, the Election Commission is being used to do the same in Bihar. We strongly object to this move. It is a big conspiracy to keep these voters away from the electoral process.”

Krishna Allavaru said the INDIA bloc’s first manifesto committee meeting today:

Allavaru said that the first joint manifesto committee meeting of the INDIA bloc will be held in Patna today to prepare a vision document for Bihar.

“The core agenda of this meeting is to prepare Bihar as a better state for its people, focusing on education, health, employment, and social justice,” he said.

The meeting will brainstorm these issues to prepare the joint manifesto of the INDIA bloc ahead of the Bihar elections.
