Patna, April 23, 2024: Popular Bhojpuri actor Khesari Lal Yadav on Tuesday said that electoral victories or defeats are insignificant compared to the need for development and education in Bihar.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Yadav remarked, “If circumstances change by becoming a leader, we have seen leaders since childhood, but Bihar has not changed till now. Winning or losing elections does not matter; development and education matter for us.”
Reacting to the BJP slogan of Abki Baar 400 Paar, Khesari Lal Yadav said it was not his subject.
Khesari Lal Yadav appealed to people for unity:
“I am concerned about how Bihar will become a developed state. If we do not unite, Bihar’s development will never happen. No outsider will come to develop Bihar. We are helpless and troubled, and no leader seems worried about it,” he added.
Khesari Lal Yadav criticized the disparity between families and ordinary citizens.
The children of leaders get a good education and live in comfort, while common people struggle for jobs and money. It’s our mistake to expect anything from leaders,” he said.
Khesari Lal Yadav may join the poll campaign for Pawan Singh if invited:
When asked about campaigning for fellow Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh, who is contesting elections from the Karakat Lok Sabha seat, Yadav said he would join the campaign if invited.
