Patna May 6: Union Home Minister Amit Shah slammed INDI alliance leaders following crores of rupees recovered from the house of a servant of Jharkhand minister’s PA on Monday.

“Today Rs 30 crore was found from the house of Jharkhand’s minister. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is a partner of the INDI alliance. Two months ago, Rs 350 crore was found from a Congress MP. Before that, Rs 51 crore was found from the house of Mamata Banerjee’s minister. These people have taken away the money of the poor and Narendra Modi will bring it back. Even the note-counting machine gets tired of counting so many rupees. Where do they get so much money from? They don’t have the answer to this,” Shah said while addressing a massive rally in Bihar’s Ujiarpur Lok Sabha constituency on Monday.

Ujiarpur is a place where MoS home Nityanand Rai is contesting the election on the BJP ticket. Amit Shah also appreciated the works of Nityanad Rai during the pandemic and said he is his dearest friend.

“Today I have come here to Ujiarpur which is 1500 kilometers away from Delhi, only for Nityanand Rai. He is my dearest friend and a minister in Narendra Modi’s cabinet. He has always worked very well. During the pandemic period, I got sick but Nityanand Rai was sitting in the control room from 6 pm to 6 am. Narendra Modi had brought vaccine and oxygen concentrate and Nityanand Rai was given the responsibility for the distribution across the country,” Amit Shah said.

Rahul had appealed to the people at that time not to get the Corona vaccine as it would spread the disease and one day in the dark of night, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi got the Corona vaccine,” Amit Shah said.

Union Home Minister also played the reservation card during the rally in Ujiarpur. He said that the Congress party is the biggest opponent of reservation for the backward caste community.

“Today, if there is any opponent of the backward community, it is Congress and Lalu Prasad Yadav is sitting in the lap of this party. The Kaka Kalelkar Committee was the first to prepare a report to give the reservation to backward caste people but Congress never implemented that. Then the Mandal Commission came but it was also put on the back burner by the Congress. When the Mandal Commission was approved, Rahul Gandhi’s father Rajiv Gandhi opposed it the most,” Amit Shah said.

“After that, many years have gone by and no one has done anything for the backward and extremely backward classes in the country. When the Narendra Modi government came, the Backward-Extremely Backward Commission was formed,” he said.

The Narendra Modi government had given 27% reservation in AIIMS for doctors of backward and extremely backward communities. Congress robbed the reservation of backward communities. When the Congress government was formed in Karnataka, they gave 5% OBC reservation to the entire Muslim community overnight. 4% reservation was also given to Andhra Pradesh,” Amit Shah said.

“Lalu Prasad Yadav roams around pretending to be a well-wisher of the backward society, he should answer on this issue. If the BJP government is formed in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, we will end it immediately. Reservation for minorities based on religion is not constitutional and we will not allow it to happen. 27 ministers in the Narendra Modi cabinet are from backward communities,” he said.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made Jannayak Karpoori Thakur the Jannayak Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur. He did a lot of work for the poor. He had demanded to give respect to the Maithili language and the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government had included it in the Eighth Schedule,” he said.
