Patna, October 9, 2025: Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal on Thursday said that the NDA will announce its seat-sharing formula and candidate list within the next two to three days, indicating that the alliance has reached the final stage of internal discussion.

Speaking to media persons at the party’s state headquarters in Patna, Jaiswal said, “We had a meeting of senior leaders where we discussed the names of candidates, including those for seats currently held by the BJP as well as constituencies we lost in the last election. The names have been finalized. We have completed our groundwork, and the final list will be approved by the party’s parliamentary board.”

Dilip Jaiswal pointed out the unity of the NDA:

On the alliance dynamics, Dilip Jaiswal asserted that NDA partners are united.

The seat-sharing talks are moving in the right direction. We have five constituent partners like the five Pandavas, and we are all together. Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Upendra Kushwaha are with us and fully satisfied. When the time comes, the seat-sharing formula will be announced jointly,” he said.

The comment of Dilip Jaiswal comes a day after HAM chief Jitan Ram Manjhi demanded 15 seats for his party.

Meanwhile, MoS Home Nityanand Rai met LJPRV chief Chirag Paswan in New Delhi to discuss the formula, after which both leaders told reporters that all is well within the NDA.

Dilip Jaiswal targeted Tejashwi Yadav:

Responding to RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of providing a government job to one member of every family in Bihar, Jaiswal dismissed the claim as impractical and childish.

“Tejashwi Yadav does not understand that government jobs have limitations. His statement was made out of frustration. Making such unrealistic promises is misleading,” he said.

Highlighting achievements of the NDA government, Jaiswal added, “Development of Bihar means Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar. The progress in road and infrastructure development is visible to everyone. The people of Bihar trust the guarantee of PM Modi and the development model of Nitish Kumar’s double-engine government.”
