Chirag Paswan confident of NDA’s historic victory in Bihar assembly poll 2025.

Patna March 30, 2025: Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan has asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set for a landslide victory in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

He dismissed the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) as an unstable coalition that would eventually collapse due to internal conflicts. Chirag Paswan emphasized that the NDA is a natural and united alliance, unlike the opposition’s fragile coalition.

“All NDA leaders will continue visiting Bihar to strategize for the elections. The alliance is working towards a “historic victory” and will jointly plan to secure maximum seats,” he said. Paswan called Amit Shah’s visit a routine part of NDA’s election preparations. He retreated that top NDA leaders will frequently visit Bihar to strengthen their campaign.

He welcomed Paras’ initiative of organizing a Dalit rally, calling it a positive step for Dalit unity. ‘’Such events should be held regularly to empower the Dalit community,’’ Paswan said.

Chirag Paswan backs property confiscation in fodder scam:

Chirag Paswan has welcomed the court’s decision to recover Rs 950 crore lost in a fodder scam, stating that those who looted public money must face consequences Paswan confirmed that the state government is engaging with CBI and the Income Tax Department to initiate legal proceedings and recover the funds.

Criticism of opposition’s seat-sharing crises: Paswan mocked the INDIA alliance, calling their unity a façade that would crumble under internal conflicts.

He said that seat-sharing remains the biggest issue for the Grand Alliance, unlike the smooth coordination within the NDA.

He took a dig at opposition leaders, saying, ‘’the same parties who betrayed each other in the past are now struggling with seat-sharing once again.” Paswan emphasized the need for justice for students but refrained from commenting directly on the court’s ruling against re-examination.

He acknowledged the importance of respecting the judicial process

Support for Waqf Amendment Bill:

Paswan affirmed that the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) [LJPRV] will support the JPC report on the Waqf Bill.

He emphasized that all stakeholders should be heard before the final report is prepared.

He assured that once the bill reaches Parliament, his party will actively participate in the discussion.
