Amit Shah attacked fiercely Lalu Yadav, calling for NDA’s victory in the 2025 Bihar poll.

Patna March 30, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, accusing him of corruption, misgovernance, and turning Bihar into a ‘Jungle Raj’ during his tenure.
Addressing a public rally in Gopalganj, Shah made a strong pitch for NDA’s return in the 2025 Bihar assembly elections under the leadership of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.
Amit Shah asked people to choose between Jungle Raj and development:
Amit Shah urged the people of Bihar to choose between NDA’s progress and RJD’s lawlessness.
“The people of Bihar must decide: Do we want to go back to Lalu-Rabri’s jungle raj, or continue on Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar’s path of development?” Shah said.
He credited NDA for Bihar’s growth, stating that development only began when the alliance came to power.
Attack on Lalu Yadav’s corruption & dynasty politics:
Amit Shah accused Lalu Yadav of looting Bihar and engaging in multiple scams: “Lalu Yadav has no shame. He ate the fodder meant for cows, committed the tar scam, and ruled Bihar through criminal incidents.”

He criticized Lalu’s ‘family-first’ politics, saying: “Lalu Yadav has done only one thing set up his entire family. Now he wants to establish his son to become Chief Minister, but he never worked for Bihar’s youth.”
Shah also slammed him over the alleged ‘land-for-jobs scam’, asking the crowd: “Would Bihar again go to those involved in corruption? To those who took land in exchange for jobs?” he asked.
Shah highlighted PM Modi’s contributions, contrasting them with past governments: “When Lalu was a minister in the UPA government, Bihar got only Rs. 2.8 lakh crore in ten years. Under Modi’s leadership, Bihar received Rs. 9.23 lakh crore in just ten years.”
He promised to revive Bihar’s economy, pledging to reopen closed sugar mills if NDA is re-elected for the next 5 years.
Amit Shah announced plans for a flood-free Bihar, stating: “Give NDA another five years, and we will ensure that Bihar never faces floods again.”
He also proposed a grand Mata Sita temple and a Ramayana Circuit to boost religious tourism.
Amit Shah’s aggressive speech set the tone for a high-stakes political battle in Bihar.
The NDA is positioning itself as the party of progress while branding RJD as corrupt and lawless.
