Patna, March 29, 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the class 10 board examination results on Saturday.
The overall pass percentage is 82.11, with 12,79,294 students passing out of the 15,58,077 who appeared for the exams.
Three students, including two girls, have topped the ranks in the state.
Sakshi Kumari from JPN High School, Narhan, Samastipur, Anshu Kumari from Bhartiya Inter College, Champaran and Ranjan Verma from High School, Agiaon Bazar in Bhojpur district have scored 489 marks out of 500, achieving a remarkable 97.8% and jointly holding the top position in the state.
This is a rare achievement where three students have jointly topped the board with the same score.
The result was declared by Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar, in the presence of BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor and Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department S Siddhartha.

BSEB announced division-wise successful candidates:
A total of 123 students have come between 4 to 10 ranks in the state, including 63 boys and 60 girls.
4,52,302 students passed in the first division, 5,24,965 in the second division and 3,80,732 in the third division.
The examinations were conducted from February 17 to 25 this year, across 1677 centres in Bihar.
The number of boys in this was 7.67 lakh, and the number of girls was 8.18 lakh.
To pass the BSEB class 10 examination, students must achieve a minimum of 33% marks in each subject.
The Bihar government has announced increased incentives for the top-performing students.
The first rank candidates will be awarded Rs 2 lakh, a laptop and a Kindle e-reader. The second-ranked students will be given Rs 1.5 lakh, a laptop, and a Kindle e-reader and third-ranked candidates will be awarded Rs 1 lakh. The students from ranks 4 to 10 will be awarded Rs 30 thousand each.
How to check your result:
The students can go to the BSEB website the matricresult2025.com or matricbiharboard.com, and click the Matric result 2025 link, enter the roll number and date of birth in the required fields and submit the details to view their result.
