Patna April 23: With the second phase of election in Bihar reaching its peak, Congress candidate from Bhagalpur Ajeet Sharma brought her actress daughter Neha Sharma in the campaign on Monday.

Neha Sharma is a prominent bollywood actress and a native of Bhagalpur district. She did the road show to support his father Ajeet Sharma in Bhagalpur. The roadshow started from Shermari Chowk and went all the way to Kahalgaon. Neha and her father were travelling on the open jeep and a large number of youths assembled during the road show to see the actress.

Due to huge turnout, traffic snarl occurred at many places in Bhagalpur.

The Congress candidate has used his trump card Neha Sharma at a time when election is at peak in the second phase. He did the same during the Bihar assembly election in 2020 as well and won the contest from Bhagalpur.

Due to the huge turnout, Neha Sharma did not interact with the journalists of Bhagalpur during the road show. However, Ajeet Sharma thanked the people of Bhagalpur for supporting him and his daughter during the road show. He appealed to the people to vote for him in the Lok Sabha election 2024. 

The polling for the Bhagalpur seat will be held on April 26 and election campaign will end on April 24 at 5 pm. The main contest for the Bhagalpur Lok Sabha seat will take place between Ajeet Sharma of Congress and Ajay Kumar Mandal of JD-U.
