Bollywood actress Neha Sharma did the road show for her father in Bhagalpur.

Patna, April 23, 2024: With the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar reaching, Neha Sharma, the prominent Bollywood actress, joined the campaign with his father Ajeet Sharma in Bhagapur to boost his prospects on Monday.

Due to the presence of Neha Sharma, a large number of people turned up at the roadshow of Ajeet Sharma to see a glimpse of the actress.

The actress is a native of Bhagalpur and a popular film star, participated in the high-energy roadshow that began from Shemari Chowk and continued up to Kahalgaon.

Riding in an open jeep alongside her father, she attracted a massive turnout of local residents, especially youths eager to catch a glimpse of the actress.

The overwhelming crowd led to traffic snarls at several points along the route.

Despite the excitement, Neha Sharma did not interact with journalists during the event, while her father expressed gratitude to the people of Bhagalpur for their enthusiastic support.

“I thank the people of Bhagalpur for the love and encouragement they have shown to me and my daughter. I appeal to everyone to vote for Congress on April 26,” he said.

This is not the first time the Congress leader has used his daughter as a star campaigner during elections.

In the 2020 Bihar Assembly polls, Neha Sharma’s presence on the campaign trail was seen as a key factor in Ajeet Sharma’s victory from the Bhagalpur constituency.

The polling on the Bhagalpur seat will be held on April 26, with the election campaign set to end at 5 PM on April 24.

The main contest is expected to be a direct fight between Ajeet Sharma and JDU’s Ajeet Kumar Mandal.
