BJP’s Dilip Jaiswal: Pasmanda Muslims will get rights of Waqf properties.

Patna June 30, 2025: BJP Bihar State President Dilip Jaiswal on Monday said that the Waqf Act has created awareness among Pasmanda Muslims regarding their rights on Waqf properties, asserting that the earnings from Waqf properties, belong to Pasmanda Muslims, who are categorized under OBC in Bihar but were deprived of their rights in the past.

The statement came during the “Pasmanda Milan Samaroh” organized at Atal Auditorium in BJP’s Bihar State Office, which saw large participation of Pasmanda Muslims, with many joining the BJP during the event.

PM thoughts of Pasmanda Muslims, says, Dilip Jaiswal:

The conference was inaugurated by BJP State President Dilip Jaiswal and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

“After the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Pasmanda Muslims are getting their rights. Our PM’s vision of Sabka saath, sabka Vikas means that our 90%  Pasmanda Muslim brothers will get their rights on Waqf properties. Both the centre and the state government are working towards this,” said Dilip Jaiswal.

Voices from the Pasmanda community:

Ali Sadiq, a resident of Nalanda, who attended the event, said: “The MY (Muslim-Yadav) equation of RJD no longer exists in Bihar, as proved in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Whatever remains will be finished in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections.”

He added that Pasmanda Muslims are among the poorest in the state and have been cheated by RJD leaders.

“We were sitting in the last line of society, and now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thought about Pasmanda Muslims. He is working to bring Pasmanda Muslims into the mainstream. On the other hand, Lalu Prasad did not even give election tickets to Pasmanda Muslims,” Sadiq said.

The BJP aims to strengthen its connection with Pasmanda Muslims in Bihar ahead of the 2025 Assembly Elections asserting that it is the only party ensuring their participation in the mainstream and guaranteeing their rights.
