BJP MLA Pawan Yadav received an extortion call from Pakistan.

Patna: BJP legislature Pawan Yadav received an extortion call from Pakistan on Monday.

The caller has demanded Rs 50 lakh as an extortion. He also threatened him to dire consequences to kill his family members if the demand would not be met.

“I received a call from the phone number +92 3486747773 at 10.57 am on Monday. The caller asked me about my son Pratush Yadav and then abused me. He asked me to pay the extortion amount of Rs 50 lakh. He also threatened me with dire consequences to kill the entire family if his demand would not be met. I immediately lodged a written complaint with the police station and also informed the DSP of Bhagalpur,” Yadav said.

Following the incident, Bhagalpur SSP constituted a team to investigate the matter.

Pawan Yadav contested the assembly election 2020 from Kahalgaon on the ticket of BJP and won that election.
