
Patna January 14, 2025: On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan visited the residence of Lok Janshakti Party(Ram Vilas) chief and Union Minister Chirag Paswan in Patna on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media during the event, the Governor expressed his appreciation for Bihar’s traditional Makar Sankranti delicacy, stating, “Bihar’s Dahi-Chura is amazing, and we have been eating it since yesterday.”

Speaking to the media, Arif Mohammad Khan revealed that he has received invitations from several prominent religious organizations, including Juna Akhara and Parmarth Niketan, as well as a few other groups.
The Governor outlined his tentative Schedule, saying, “There is a five-day program. Maybe we will go there on 6, 7, or 8 February. No date has been fixed from their side yet. Only an invitation has come from their side.”
He also expressed his intention to spend time in the ashrams during his visit, highlighting the spiritual and cultural importance of the Maha Kumbh.
Governor’s response to Waqf Board land issue:
When questioned about the Kumbh Mela being held on land associated with the Waqf Board, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan diplomatically deflected the query, emphasizing positivity.
He remarked, “I do not get involved in all this, ask me for good and positive things.”
