Akhilesh Prasad Singh criticized the BJP after the NPP withdrew support 1 day earlier in Manipur.

Patna November 18, 2024: Congress state president Akhilesh Prasad Singh has criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its handling of alliances, specifically citing the recent withdrawal of support from the National People’s Party (NPP) in Manipur.

“This event clearly demonstrates that the BJP has become a party that other parties cannot trust for coalition partnerships,” Singh said.

Akhilesh Prasad Singh claimed Nitish Kumar is not pleased with the BJP as well:

He also noted that Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, is facing difficulties with the BJP, indicating growing discontent within the state’s ruling coalition.

Singh’s comments came in the wake of the NPP’s decision to break ties with the BJP-led government in Manipur, which was followed by a formal letter to BJP national president JP Nadda announcing the withdrawal of support.

Singh remarked that the public has seen how the BJP has handled alliances in the past, particularly in Maharashtra, and they are now witnessing the unfolding political dynamics in Manipur and Bihar.

Akhilesh Prasad Singh claimed BJP failed to adhere to coalition principles:

He pointed out that the BJP’s failure to adhere to coalition principles (“Alliance Dharma”) is evident across the country.

“The political situation in Bihar is heating up due to these developments, as the BJP is part of the ruling coalition in the state. This has put additional pressure on the relationship between BJP and Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United), contributing to political tension between them,” Singh said.

In response to a question about by-elections, Akhilesh Prasad Singh, the Congress state president, confidently claimed that the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) candidates would win all the seats in Bihar.

He also expressed optimism about the political scenario in Jharkhand, Predicting that the public would reaffirm its support for the India Block government in the state.

Akhilesh Singh said the education system of Bihar has completely collapsed:

When asked about the ongoing protests by the teacher’s Union in Bihar over the government’s decision to transfer teachers, Singh strongly criticized the Bihar government’s education policy.

He stated that the education system in the state had “completely collapsed,” and he expressed concern over the troubles faced by teachers.

Singh argued that the government’s approach to teacher transfers was wrong and had caused distress among educators, further deteriorating the state’s education system.
