Issues in check-in: Passengers traveling through flights are facing significant issues due to the shutdown of online check-in services.

The officials at Patna airport have confirmed the technical glitches at the airport.

Flights continued to arrive in Patna from other cities until 1 PM but since then, no plane has been able to take off.

This has led to passengers stranded, with flights to Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Lucknow still on the ground.

Many passengers frustrated by the delays, returned homes due to server failures. There is a stir among the passengers.

Flight Operators stands: Following the technical glitches in Microsoft, leading airline operator SpiceJet, in its official statement said: “A global technical outage has affected the aviation industry. SpiceJet is ensuring that all its flights scheduled for today will depart. We are working closely with the airports and relevant authorities to minimize disruptions and ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.”

“We are facing a network-wide issue with Microsoft Azure, causing delays at airports. Check-ins may be slower and queues longer. Our digital team is working with Microsoft to resolve this swiftly. For assistance, please reach out to the on-ground team. Thanks for your patience,” said Indigo Airline in its official statement on social media platform X.
