Patna, August 22, 2025: RJD National President Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, has stirred political waters again, alleging that five powerful families conspired to end his political and family life.
On Thursday evening, Tej posted an animated photograph on his official X handle, writing, “In my political career of more than 10 years, I have never wronged or conspired against anyone. But the people of these five families tried their best to completely end my political and family life. On August 22, I will bring the face and character of all five families in front of the public. I am going to expose each of their conspiracies,” Tej Pratap said.
The remarks come against the backdrop of his recent expulsion from RJD and Lalu family for six years, after a controversial social media post went viral.
The post features a photograph with a woman named Anishka Yadav, along of claims of a long-term relationship.
The development triggered uproar in Bihar politics, providing an issue to rival and deepening rifts within the RJD.
Tej denied authoring the post, claiming that his Facebook account was hacked and accusing political opponents of running a larger conspiracy against him.

Amid the turmoil, Tej Pratap has floated his new political outfit, Team Tej Pratap Yadav, vowing to fight independently in the upcoming political battle in October-November.
At rallies, he has repeatedly invoked the phrase “Jaychand”, accusing unnamed individuals of betraying him.
Some Jaychands have hatched conspiracies against me. But very soon, the people of Bihar will know their names and deeds,” he told supporters.
Tej Pratap asked Tejashwi to stay cautious from Jaychands:
In a veiled caution, Tej Pratap even urged his younger brother and leader of the opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, to stay away from such Jaychand, hinting at widening fault lines within the Yadav family.
