Mukesh Sahani attacked the NDA, saying people are ready to teach vote thieves a lesson.

Patna, August 19, 2025: Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief and former Bihar Minister Mukesh Sahani on Tuesday claimed that the Voter Adhikar Yatra is receiving tremendous public support across Bihar.

Mukesh Sahani said the growing anger on the streets over the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR)shows that people are preparing to give a tough lesson to vote thieves.

Mukesh Sahani said the people of Bihar are alert:

Accusing the BJP of working hand-in-glove with the Election Commission, Sahani alleged, “They want to steal the constitution and democracy by stealing votes. But the people of Bihar are alert and will stop this theft at any cost. The crowds joining this Yatra prove that the common people are on the streets to establish the rule of the people.”

Mukesh Sahani also attacked the double-engine government:

He said the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government, despite being in power for nearly 20 years, has failed to address Bihar’s core problems.

“Unemployment, poverty and migration are at their peak due to the growing debt crisis, but the government has no plan to solve this. The so-called double engine government has only worsened the situation,” Sahani added.

The Voter Adhikar Yatra, which began from Sasaram on August 17, reached Nawada via Aurangabad and Gaya on Tuesday.

A public meeting is scheduled in Nawada this evening, where the Grand Alliance leaders Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Mukesh Sahani and others will jointly address the gathering.

According to the itinerary, the Grand Alliance leaders will take a break on Wednesday and resume their journey on Thursday from Sheikhpura and Lakhisarai.
