Patna December 3, 2024: Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, who is known for making exceptional decisions, has called for a cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
There is an expectation that Nitish Kumar’s cabinet will take important decisions including the ambitious commitment to creating 7 lakh jobs before the 2025 assembly election.

The Chief Minister has already directed the departments to assess vacancies under the guidance of the Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena. This meeting could bring announcements to expedite the process.
The cabinet meeting will be held at 12.05 PM at the central hall of the Cabinet Secretariat Department. Initially, it was slated for 4 PM on Tuesday.
The cabinet meeting, postponed last week due to the winter session of the Assembly, is expected to address numerous crucial agendas.

In the previous cabinet meeting, The Bihar Government approved 9 key proposals, including allocations for infrastructure under the Bihar State Minority Residential School Scheme.
Under the scheme, the state government had allocated Rs 56.65 crore fund for the construction of a minority residential school for 560 in Masaurhi, Patna district and Rs 50.47 crore for a similar project in Chanpatia block, West Champaran district.
The cabinet also approved the Mahila Samvad program aimed at Women’s empowerment and engagement. An expenditure of Rs 225.78 crore was sanctioned to organize the program across the state, reflecting the government’s commitment to gender-focused initiatives.
Given the track record of impactful decisions, the upcoming meeting could see further approvals across sectors, with a focus on job creation, education, and infrastructure.
