Neeraj Kumar claimed Tejashwi is afraid of ED and not people.
Patna October 9, 2024: Neeraj Kumar, the JD(U) MLC and chief spokesperson criticized Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar assembly, accusing him of avoiding public responsibility and prioritizing his legal issues.
“Tejashwi Yadav returned to India after receiving summons from Enforcement Directorate (ED), following an 18-day stay abroad, during which he neglected the flood crisis in Bihar, particularly in his constituency of Raghopur,” Kumar said.
“There is a Puranic song Chithi Aayi Hai Aayi Hai Chithi Aayi Hai” which applies to Tejashwi Yadav. He does not care to visit his people during flood crisis but immediately returns when summonsed by the ED. He fears ED more than the people,” Kumar said.

Neeraj Kumar also claimed that while Tejashwi is launching the “Karyakarta darshan Sah Samvad” Yatra to connect the party workers, he has made his residence 10 Circular Road inaccessible to these very workers.
He suggested that a more appropriate name for the event would be “Karyakarta Samvad”.
Neeraj Kumar further criticized Tejashwi Yadav wealth and lifestyle, accusing him of acting like a “Political Landlord” who distances himself from ordinary workers. He also expressed doubt that Tejashwi Yadav would stay in Bihar after the second phase of his Yatra, speculating that he might leave the4 country again, after securing court permission.
“Can he ensure that he will not go on another foreign trip after completing the second phase of his Yatra on the permissions of the court?” Kumar asked.
Lastly, Neeraj Kumar drew comparision between the fee structures of the “Charwaha School” established under Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi’s government, which charge a nominal fee of Rs 4.30 per month and the more affordable fee of polytechnic and engineering Colleges (Rs 5 and Rs 10 respectively for polytechnic and engineering Colleges) during Nitish Kumar’s tenure. Kumar said that Tejashwi should discuss this point before his workers during his Yatra.
Arvind Kumar Singh, the BJP spokesperson also criticized Tejashwi Yadav for his absence during the flood crisis in Bihar.
“Tejashwi Yadav was abroad when people of a large part of the state, were grappling with the effects of the flood. He is going for a Yatra which will be held in districts largely unaffected by the floods,” Singh said.
Tejashwi Yadav will start Yatra from Banka on October 16, then move to Jamui on October 17, Munger on October 18, Khagaria on October 19, Begusarai on October 20, Lakhisarai/Sheikhpura on October 21, Nawada on October 22, Nalanda on October 23, Jehanabad/Arwal on October 24, Gaya on October 25 and end in Tekari on October 26.
