Patna July 26: Dilip Jaiswal, the newly appointed BJP state president, on Friday, said that if he had his way, he would have finished all the parties and only one party would run Bihar.
Dilip Jaiswal has good relations will all parties’ leaders: The statement of Dilip Jaiswal came after the leaders of every political party congratulated him for his appointment as a state president of BJP. He said that he has a good relationship with the leaders of all parties.
“All parties have congratulated me. My nature is such that people of all parties wish me well. If it were up to me, I would end all parties and run Bihar by uniting them into one party, Jaiswal said while interacting with the media persons outside the Bihar assembly.
The stance of Dilip Jaiswal on party unity could spark significant debate and concern among different political parties and their supporters.
“BJP central leadership has given me many responsibilities of the state president and I will work accordingly to strengthen my party. I will work hard to strengthen the organization and make action plans at all levels of the party,” he said.
Dilip Jaiswal appreciated the work of Samrat Choudhary: Reacting to previous state president Samrat Choudhary, Jaiswal acknowledged his work: “Samrat Chaudhary is a good leader and our deputy CM as well as the leader of the legislative party. Under his leadership, NDA performed well recently concluded Lok Sabha election. It was ahead by a lot of votes in 174 assembly constituencies.”
When asked about the forthcoming assembly election in 2025, Jaiswal said: “NDA will contest the election under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. We have talked to Samrat Chaudhary about the future course of action for the betterment of the party. Preparations will be made for Bihar Assembly.”
Dilip Jaiswal’s background: He is originally from Khagaria and belongs to the Kalwar caste. He is a member of the Bihar Legislative Council and the Minister of Revenue and Land Reforms in the Bihar Government.
