Patna, June 24, 2024: A day after the CBI formally took over the NEET question paper leak investigation from the Economic Offences Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Monday posted photographs of Sanjeev Mukhiya’s wife, Mamta Devi, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other NDA leaders.

The RJD shared the photographs of Sanjeev Mukhiya’s wife, Mamta Devi, and other leaders:

The RJD shared the photographs on its official X handle, marking circles around Sanjeev Mukhiya, his wife Mamta Devi, CM Nitish Kumar, cabinet minister Shrawan Kumar, JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar and others. Along with the pictures, the party raised several questions aimed at the NDA leadership.

“Who is protesting Sanjeev Mukhiya, the alleged kingpin of the NEET question Paper leak case? Is it not true that his wife, Mamta Devi, contested the election under the NDA banner and is a JDU leader? Is it not true that his family has direct access to the Chief Minister’s residence and is close to the CM and a powerful minister? Is it not true that Sanjeev Mukhiya maintains close relations with a senior officer of the CMO?” The RJD asked in its post.

The party also alleged that despite being accused in multiple paper leak cases, the family is “roaming freely due to interference from the top ruling leadership.” It questioned why the “masterminds of paper leaks” were allegedly linked to JDU—NDA leaders.

Sanjeev Mukhiya is a mastermind in the NEET paper leak case:

In another post, the RJD also uploaded photographs of Sanjeev Mukhiya and Mamta Devi receiving a ticket from LJP president Chirag Paswan at his residence ahead of the 2020 assembly polls.

Mamta Devi had contested the 2020 assembly election on a Lok Janshakti Party ticket.

Sanjeev Mukhiya, a resident of Nalanda, has been named as the alleged mastermind in the NEET paper leak case and is currently absconding, according to investigators.
