RJD put a question mark on exit polls

Patna June 2: While several exit polls have given the clear majority to NDA, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) put a question mark on exit poll figures and said them wrong.

While uploading a post on social networking platform X, RJD claimed various media organizations have made major mistakes in exit polls. It has tried to prove the survey report wrong regarding the seats of Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas LJP (R) in Bihar.

In the exit poll of India Today Group and Axis My India, Chirag Paswan’s party LJPR is seen getting 4 to 6 seats, whereas it has contested only 5 seats in Bihar,” RJD mentioned in the post.

RJD has also raised questions on the exit poll regarding the seats of CPIM on its official X handle. CPIM contested only one seat in Jharkhand but in the exit poll, it is seen getting 2 to 3 seats.

RJD wrote on its X handle for the exit poll of Zee News. A total of 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana but the exit poll shows NDA winning 16-19 seats alone. At the same time, there are 4 seats in Himachal Pradesh but Zee News is adamant on giving 6-8 seats to NDA.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has claimed that INDIA Alliance will form the government in the centre by getting more than 295 seats. Meanwhile, RJD MP Manoj Jha said that exit polls have proved wrong twice in the context of Bihar.

“We should wait for June 4. What is an exit poll? We have seen it twice in the context of Bihar. We have had to face defeat, something similar will happen on June 4 as well,” Dr. Manoj Jha, Rajya Sabha MP of RJD.
