PM Narendra Modi reached Patna for the two-day Bihar visit.

Patna, May 20, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Patna on Monday evening for a two-day visit to Bigar, marking his ninth trip to the state since April as part of the ongoing election campaign.

Upon his arrival at Patna Airport, he was warmly received by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with several senior NDA leaders.

This visit comes just nine days after his previous trip to Patna for a grand roadshow on May 12.

PM Narendra Modi addressed a series of rallies:

Since April, PM Modi has held a series of rallies across Bihar—in Jamui on April 4, Nawada on April 7, Gaya and Purnea on April 16, Araria and Munger on April 26, Darbhanga on May 4, Patna on May 12, and Hajipur, Saran, and Muzaffarpur on May 13.

After arriving in Patna on Monday, PM Narendra Modi went to Rajendra Nagar to visit the residence of late BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi, where he met the bereaved family and paid floral tributes.

Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the BJP state headquarters on Veer Chand Patel Path—his first-ever visit to the party office in Patna as Prime Minister.

There, he will chair a meeting with senior party leaders and members of the election management committee to receive a campaign strategy.

PM Narendra Modi will address two rallies in Siwan and Cast Champaran:

PM Modi will spend the night at Raj Bhawan, and on Tuesday, he is set to address two major election rallies in Siwan and East Champaran, both of which will go to polls in the sixth phase on May 25.

With this visit, PM Modi continues to intensify the BJP’s campaign push in Bihar, underscoring the state’s strategic importance in the upcoming elections.
