Patna, May 11, 2024: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday claimed that if the NDA secures more than 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, incidents of what he termed as Love-Jihad would be eradicated from the country.
Addressing an election rally in Begusarai, Sarma said, “Earlier, Pakistani infiltrators used to come to India and target innocent people. Now, no one dares to come after Prime Minister Narendra Modi took charge of the country and gave befitting replies to Pakistan. Similarly, if we penalize a few Love-Jihadis, no one would dare to do it again in the country.”
Himanta Biswa Sarma says Narendra Modi is needed in the country to resolve issues:
Himanta Biswa Sarma further said, “We need Narendra Modi’s government to eliminate all the wrong things happening in the country.”
Referring to religious and social issues, Sarma added, “Religion and sect have always been an issue in our country. Our nation was divided on the basis of religion. When the country becomes Sanatan, unemployment will also go away on its own.”
Himanta Biswa Sarma pointed out the population growth of the minorities:
Citing a recent report, he questioned, “Which community’s population is increasing today? Whose population has grown by 45%? It is not Hindus. If the country becomes Hindu, many of our problems will automatically be solved. We do not do three marriages,” he said.
