Hena Shahab slammed RJD leaders for ignorance of the Shahabuddin family.

Patna, May 1, 2024: Independent candidate Hena Shahab, wife of late RJD leader Mohammad Shahabuddin, launched a sharp attack on the RJD leadership, saying that a party which could not respect Shahabuddin cannot be expected to respect anyone else.

Her remarks came on Wednesday during a prayer meeting organized by her family and supporters to mark Shahab Uddin’s death anniversary.

Responding to reports that RJD leaders were using her husband’s photographs in their campaign, Hena Shahab said, “My husband is visible only in the photographs. No one came here to pay tribute to him. The RJD has ignored the Sahabuddin family. Time will tell what impact this will have on the elections.”

Speaking about her candidature, she said, “I want to win this election to reconnect with Shahab Uddin’s vision and commitment to Siwan’s development. I did not want my supporters to suffer in the heat, so I quietly filed my nomination on Tuesday.”
